Artifacts of the switching site included many broken Hewlett suspension insulators. General Electric were the original insulators, four in a string, and Thomas insulators were used as replacements and additions. The GE were linked with copper plated steel wire and the Thomas used brass hardware stamp RT&SCo. for R. Thomas & Sons Company and a 1923 patent date.
