Every so often on the transmission line, section towers were installed with a switching station. Here is one of last, if not the last, double circuit break towers where a switching platform and mid-air switches exist. Both General Electric and Thomas Hewlett are used on the switches. Also seen here are remains of the telephone line with CD 145 B insulators. Below this tower is remains of a telephone house on a steep hillside beside a railroad grade.
