The green Brookfield 152 has an interesting story behind it. For those of you who know me well, you may know that I like the colour green A LOT, and I always jump at any opportunity to own any insulator of any vibrant, true green shade. When I saw this one on the pole, I freaked out. But I couldn't get it off the pin!! And it was on the end of the crossarm! But don't despair, my dad thought to bring along a hacksaw, and we sawed the whole crossarm off. There were no wires, of course. Actually, the entire line, and the tracks for that matter are abandoned, but I got it off the pin on the ground, and I'm happy! Now you can tell I'm devoted! The H.G.Co. 145 is the last one I pulled that day, and it has some very nice amber streak things all in the front! They're nothing all too special, but not bad for my first crack at H.G.Co. beehives, huh?
