Tried to magnet fish the area of canal near where this photo was taken but only got nails, a bottle cap and a piece of rebar. Wasn't expecting much since they degdged it in 2005. This display is what they found the dredging the canal. Note the insulators. I gave the state park worker running the house/museum a rough age on the Brookfield beehive and two of the bottles not shown. And of course plugged www.insulators.info. I'll have to wait until November when the duck weed and plants die off to really fish the area better. I kept catching salad. The lake that hasn't been dredged down river is probably a better place to magnet fish.
