Probably the second hardest California insulator to find is the two piece transposition CD 190/191. The hardest is the sharp drip point California signal CD 161[030]. This CD 191 top appeared in an eBay insulator group lot in mid-December 2017 with 7 other insulators that were severely cracked or otherwise broken. This was the first time one has appeared in an eBay auction in 20 years of diligent eBay searching. The smoke colored top was salvaged long ago with the other insulator auction offerings from a chicken ranch in Claremont, California, although, the auction itself originated in Reston, Virginia. So please don't tell me you cannot find good California glass outside of the west coast.

The insulator sat on top of a California CD 187 Brown's Pony in the auction photo. The auctioning owner doesn't recall ever seeing a bottom piece for this top. Notice the small pimple/button of glass low on the dome just to the right of the second "A" in "CALIFORNIA". Other two piece owners have noticed the pimple as well but I think it has been in different locations on the dome.

Looking for a separate California bottom, CD 190, in any glass color, but would still be as happy if I had to acquire another top just to get the bottom piece. Thanks.
