Am drawing blanks on this beautiful piece of purple glass. Does not appear irradiated to my eye and may be a neon sign insulator. It measures 3 1/2" in diameter with a base that looks like a batter rest. Certainly an interesting conversation starter on your shelf for $18 shipped to the US.
