We always seemd to have a clutter problem with the otherwise useless little built in bar / counter in our kitchen dining area ... So I made some open shelves and added a display for my M-3721 to the top . this insulator stile is hard to display because the pin bolt and porcelain pin base are an integral part of the insulator. I have a few original 1903-04 crossarms and crossarm ends from 127 mile long " Borel" (Kern River-LA) 55kV line that have been in storage for many years. I finally made a display out of one of the already cut off ends . It is amazing any wood from this line even exists considering that the line was completely reconstructed in the 1912-1915 era with suspension insulators . and all the original wood arms were discarded in the rebuild . Here is what it looked like 100 years ago... [id=318558211]
