These accommodated 120 volt lightbulbs specially designed for street lighting service. More specifically, these bulbs were designed to last longer and withstand wind vibration. Typically, 1,000 and 2,500 lumen lamps were used with the shown fixture. Respectively we are talking 92 and 189 watts for 3,000 hour bulbs. Very unfortunately, these and other street lighting-specific incandescent lightbulbs no longer manufactured.
