It was the strangest thing. They grew in this spot like mushrooms! Just about all of these in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania are long gone now. This section was cleared out a few weeks after I took these pics. CSX has decommissioned and removed almost all former B&O railroad pole leads due to PTC.
