Here are a couple of U-297 Harford Faience signals along with a lag-screw insulator that I've not seen before. The Hartford pieces are white and a dark brown so dark it looks black. The lag screw piece is as big as the others, and if it didn't have the screw in it, it would look like a pin-type insulator with an inner skirt. The glaze is mottled reddish brown that I would guess is by Thomas. See [id=525197756] for more pics of this piece. The condition of all three is about mint. The light spot on the dome of the dark Hartford is from manufacture where the glaze did not adhere during firing. The lag screw is now sold. Withdrawn.
