I can't tell if this is a U-292, 292A, 293, 297, or 297A as the exact measurements (3 1/4" W x 3 3/8" H) do not match any of these as listed in Elton's unipart Collector's Guide. The color is an odd speckled olive green, and the base is kinda crude. The spots of missing glaze seen on the front skirt, dome, and top of pinhole is not damage, but areas where the glaze did not adhere during firing. There is very minor glaze flaking in one area of the sharp edge of the wire groove that is hard to see on the left side of the upper right photo. The rest is factory mint. Click on View Original to see more detail. Given my uncertainty as to the U-number, the Price Guide is only marginally helpful, so I'm asking $10 plus postage for this odd duck.
