Here is a close up of a set of switches sitting on top of a high rock in Flin Flon Mb. There is actually houses in this part of town just behind this pole structure. This is the old part of town which was first developed in 1928. This structure was worked on in 1973 which was when those newer dead ends went in during a rebuild. When Manitoba Hydro took over most of the distribution in Flin Flon from Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting (HBMS) hydro in 1973, these lines were energized at 6900 Delta and then converted to 7200 Y during a rebuild that same year. Since 73 Manitoba Hydro has been replacing all of these switches and ring poles every time they had a chance. There are only a few sets of each left in service today.
