Here is a set of switches sitting on a pole in Flin Flon Mb. The line was build as a 6900 Delta line by HBMS (Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting) hydro. The line was converted to a 7200 Y system by Manitoba Hydro in 1973 when they took over most of the distribution lines in Flin Flon. There are only about 5 sets of these left around town. I spoke to a linemen that recently took a set of these down and he said that they are very heavy compared to anything else that he has worked on. Please E-mail me if you know anything about their history.
