When I was taking the suspensions apart, I thought I saw part of a lightning arrestor sticking out of the snow, so I went to check it out. Turns out I did, along with other stuff associated with a 6.9kv signal transformer drop on the old Pennsy catenary system. The crew cutting the line down was really getting their moneys worth of the scrap steel, and messed up some of these pieces which you will see later.
