At first glance, you may think it's a French piece or run-of-the-mill Italian piece. This is actually a very rare bottle style Italian CD 539 embossed with FIDENZA on one side and N1D with a line under an o above/between the N and 1. Also at the top of the outer skirt there is some type of insignia embossing on the N1D side. These were from the 1920s, this specific one was found in Poland...there was a hunch that around WW2 the Germans/German army took them from Italy and later used in Poland. You may see some of these with BORGO embossed on them, those are not hard to come by. This embossing makes it a rare bird for sure! Not sure how many there are but the photo example on the NIA website was provided by Tommy Bolack. :)

Great shape, just a few wire rubs in the wire groove and a small factory open bubble on the inner skirt.

Large insulator at 3 3/8" x 5 1/8"!

This one I would let go for $395 shipped (SALE $295). I prefer payment through PayPal but I will accept other forms of payment. If you would like any other photos or have other questions, don't hesitate to ask me. As always, thank you for checking out my listings!
