This was a nice find yesterday. Over the years I have only picked up a few in lineman collections that would suggest they were put in service locally in Northern California. I rarely see them on ICON or distant shows I attend, so maybe they were only used in Northern California? I was recently educated by a Hemingray signal specialist that the Aqua Hemi signals with the heavy amber streaking always on the right side of the insulator all came from Northern California, so how about amber-choked signals? On the timeline of Hemingray signal production, they all seem to be later production signals.

Ans: These were also found on a line in Northern Kentucky
