Out walking the tracks today when I met a man dumping leaves he had raked from his backyard. "Would you happen to have any insulators?" says I, "The things the railroad used to use for the telegraph." He leads me to two plastic totes in the backyard and says that he has more in the attic and will call when he cleans things out in the spring.
