This week I needed to hang some of the suspensions with the large ball / socket hardware from some discs with regular size ball - safely. What I came up with was a simple and quick fix. A flat washer about 1.5 inch OD is cut to make a simple C type clip. The two suspensions are fitted together, the clip is installed and turned 90 degrees to lock it in a little better.

The OD of the washer is close to the size of the socket, fits in quite nicely. The hole in the washer is the correct size for the pin shank. easy, easy, easy.
