I have a chocolate spool with a G on the top that I wrote to Jack Tod in 1975 to ask him about it. Here is his reply.

The spool was by given to me by my maternal Grandma White who it in her junk drawer since she lived in Strawberry, Kansas. They left for Bedford, IN in 1936, so was there at least that long.

I also have a letter somewhere telling me they had a BRUNT spool with a G, and he thought it was made by Globe Porcelain.

Since then I've acquired crude tan colored kegs & ponies with the same G marking.
