Here's a very cool unreported threadless porcelain insulator found in Belgium but can now be identified as made by Norden Porcelainfabriken in Copenhagen, Denmark!! Only 2 known. Outer skirt is glazed but inner skirt and pinhole are smooth and unglazed. Top inner wire groove has the unusual XX cross hatch marks (but unique to many of Norden insulators)- possibly intended to allow better grip on it when securing tie wire. I've seen this feature before on an unusual early white spool and some early small dry process insulators found in Belgium that were all made by Norden.

The pinhole is completely threadless. It appears as though the pinhole was carved out in two steps at the factory as there is a small lip about half way down (way past the end of the inner skirt) and then it appears it was cut slightly off center during the second cut giving it a slightly out of round appearance. [id=509763074] Unmarked.

Possibly a stray from the previously discovered cache of various unique threadless porcelain insulators that were used as a teaching tool in a Belgium University? 3 1/8" wide by 6" tall. Mint condition.

First email gets this rare threadless insulator for only $1400 plus shipping. (I took $100 off for a temporary Christmas special!) I can accept payment divided into 5 monthly payments. Will be securely double boxed. Thanks!
