Here we have a red porcelain insulator made by our friends at Bullers Ltd. for use on the London Midland and Scottish Railway. It measures just under 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The top has the incuse Bullers logo with the year of manufacture, 1959, and an upper case P. The crown is marked LMS. This one is clean with a shiny surface and it displays very well. On the downside, it has a large chip on the inner skirt, a 1/2 inch shallow chip on the base, and 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall upside-down- arc-shape glaze crack extending upward from the base. The damage has little effect on the display of this piece and everyone should have a red insulator in their collection (or so I think). Price is $50 and I will pay half the Priority Mail shipping in the US or the equivalent amount toward shipping to other countries. NOW $45.00 AND I WILL PAY FOR THE SHIPPING IN THE US AND THE EQUIVALENT AMOUNT TOWARD SHIPPING TO OTHER COUNTRIES. |
