I acquired these two awesome M-4325 Thomas multi-parts seperately over a span of some years now from friend/collector & great mentor Robin Harrison from Seattle, wa.
The issue with displaying these were their large cemented in buss works pins that were totally rusted beyond salvage, Any vibration in attempting to remove them would have resulted in damage to the insulators. Using an air mini cutter with a carbide wheel made quick no vibration removal of the rusted hardware possible.
Then a careful sandblast and repaint of the hardware along with new stainless steel bolts and salvaged switchgear base and buss works hardware completed this set of twins. They sit along side my desk at work and are a big hit with all the guys.in my Transmission/Distribution group.
