A totally new discovery ! A mahogany OB M-4321c Over the years a number of examples of the M-4321c have leaked out of Eastern Washington . most came from the inside of the Little Falls powerhouse but I have seen a scattering of damaged ones on old lines I have hunted . I have never before though seen even fragments of a mahogany one till now . this insulator was a replacement on a line that used all gray M-4321 victors I found the insulator it replaced nearby with massive flash over damage . So OB did indeed make a few brown ones . At this point though this one is a one of a kind . The glaze is clearly the early 1909-1910 era OB mahogany . There is a large OB marking embossed on the crown as with the few known gray ones . The inner skirt was split from cement expansion but will repair easily after I remove the pin and old cement ! ... finding something new is quite a thril!
