Apparently a Mourning Dove decided that the spool bracket on top of my porcelain shelves on the porch would be a perfect spot for a nest. Given the size of the babies, the nest must have been there almost a month without us knowing it.

Unfortunately, the reason we found out about the nest is that somehow the birds knocked off a large bracket that took off almost half of the top skirt of a Westinghouse M-3920 that was sitting in front of the shelves.
