In November, 2001, I was in Hawley, Pa. on business and tried to find the old Harlow Glass Works. The library and the postmaster both referred me to the town Judge. She was "holding court" at the time, but after a brief period came out and cordially gave me directions to the former location of the glass works. She said that she only knew the location because her father-in-law had worked there, and added that the old Harlow buildings washed away during the 1947 flooding of the Lackawaxen River. The area today is an athletic field. The factory was located at the point designated "Dike" in this photo. Sic transit gloria mundi !
