Visited the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Museum on 16 May. According to the museum placard the Hemingray 45 in clear and Hemingray 19 in ice blue/aqua were said to be used on base communication lines. Interestingly, the placard stated that the "Insulator in front was made in 1919. Note the greenish color was caused by the sun. Insulator in back was made in 1945". Well... their expertise lies in missile testing and nuclear effects. Good museum, worth a stop if you are in the Alamogordo/White Sands, New Mexico area.
