As many of you may know, Jack Snyder has been patiently waiting to examine the spoils of a ditch clean out operation that had previously yielded some interesting evidence of the historic nature of this Michigan (and Ohio to a lesser extent) RR.

Well, I believe I saved him some time today by walking the area. There was little to be found. All the suspected insulator shards were ho-hum remnants of common junk.

Here is one other piece I decided to keep. A common amber threaded closure vial. Owens Illinois made. Not sure about the meaning of the other numbers around the logo. This is about 2" tall and a little over 1/2" diameter.
