Every year during the fall, winter, and spring, the lake near my house lowers. This exposes many treasures (most of which are broken) that I find. I have found bottles, cans, marbles, bottle stoppers, insulator pieces and many other interesting things. This one was a really exiting find for me. I have found insulators that are more intact than this, but they are always by railroad tracks, and old lines. The most intact glass insulator that I had ever found in the lakebed before this one was a medium sized chunk. The two halves of this one sat a few feet apart. I was able to clean the insulator up and glue it.
