I met up with a guy named Ed that had some insulators on Craigslist last week. I purchased maybe 8 insulators that evening, but nothing really worth writing about. Ed had this CD 302 Muncie that he also wanted to sell. As you can see, the Muncie had some health issues, so it didn't go home with me. Maybe it is something common, but I don't recall ever seeing a Muncie with any kind of pinhole insert. This insert appears to be made of lead. I thought it was interesting so I am sharing this photo. I had originally called this insulator a CD 303. Thanks to Justin Martin for pointing out that it would be one-of-a-kind CD 303 if it had a large pinhole. After some research, and some scaling of my photo, I am now calling it a CD 302.
