I was just looking through some of my old bottle magazines and seen this photo from an issue dated May 1973...From the "Insulator By-Lines" section this photo reveals what they are describing as a CD 104 double star with pointed dome....

I have never heard tell of something like this in a CD 104 so I emailed my friend (and newly designated Wade specialist..) Gene Hawkins to see if he may have heard any rumors surrounding this piece.....

Turns out we are both puzzled and figure that something was lost in translation...I thought perhaps it was supposed to be some variant of a CD 102 with a pointed dome and Gene thinks it was supposed to be the CD 145 pointed dome variant, though notices that if that were the case, the wire groove is in the wrong place......

So we think that the drawing is simply not accurate to represent any 104s that we have heard about or seen, but they clearly designated it as a CD 104 double star with pointed dome.....so just in case there is a possibility that this piece exists, has anyone ever seen one or even heard tell that one exists?...
