Took the kids out today with me beside the house. The poles are gone and they're bulldozing the ditch line beside the track where the poles were in preparation to put in a new powerline. So I figured no better time than now for a small walk. Beside my house has been brush hogged but not dozed, but 1/2 mile down has been dozed clear. However, the company doing the dozing didn't want us looking around while they were on the site and with their machinery there so we couldn't walk the dozed area. Despite that, we did find 3 straw colored Hemi-42s dating from 1947, a Mountain Dew bottle dating from 1977 and a propane gas tank which saves me $30 when I need a new tank as this will be my exchange tank. Nothing rare but a nice time outside with the kids finding insulators in the wild.
