I have never seen a ghost embossed Cal........Embossing is roughly a 1/4 inch above the normal California. It is slanted and very strong on the right side with the last 3 letters, "NIA"..........Must have run low when pouring the molten glass and had a few seconds lapse which allowed the embossing to start. Than either more glass poured into the mold moving the first embossing up in the mold.........Or placement of the mandrel was miss timed and it forced the first embossing up..........Both theories on my part...........Either way, a very unusual CAL!.........((((-:
