Found this cool piece long ago here in Michigan at an antique store. It resembles the Hemingray 42 shape and size but the bottom lip below the tie wire area has a much sharper look unlike the rounded type glass versions. Its material is of a composite but I'm not too sure. It makes a high pitch noise when I flick my nail on it. At the end of the threads inside is a half inch stub protruding back into the cavity. My only guess was did the wooden pin it screwed onto have a female end? Any xtra info/value? on this one would be most cool. I have never seen another one like this. Enjoy
