That orange near base is camera/ lighting, probably from overhead flourescents. Not quite there, but closer than ever. Water soluble oil is a strange bird, some characteristics of oil and some acrylic/ latex, still figuring it out. Curses! .... back to the drawing board! Literally Height to width ratio, photo: 1.75, painting: 1.51.... got carried away when I finally came close to the color... Painting looks like a slumper, kind of short..... Not room on canvas to 'fix' it Have a plan to avoid that in future Oh well, I figured at least the first 5 or so wouldn't be wallhangers.
