This is one of three remaining buildings in the ghost town of King Station Ohio. Photo was taken in the mid 1980's. We found a portion of a telegraph pole with crudely threaded pins. (Two pin crossarm) and about half of a CD 731 No Name McKee under this building. Also some clay pipes and clay marbles under the siding. This was a mining town dating back to 1865. It appears this dwelling was inhabited until at least 1948. Perhaps later. I rescued a cast iron mile marker from the old M&C near here. It was over 75 pounds and had to carry it out along with all my gear. Close to five miles. The railroad decided to scrap all the bridges so it's a real challenge to get to these days. If you want to go there be ready to get wet up past your waist.
