This piece has several hard to see fractures in the top that were separated glued and and sealed with epoxy and three small flakes around the rim pf the top the collar was also epoxied on at the glaze-weld joint which is also nearly undetectable . Amazingly the spout is actually perfect ! The base is a bit scuffy and has a fracture line in the back that was sealed with epoxy by Paul Greaves . Otherwise it is a complete insulator with no bondo repairs, filler, or painted chips on the top and no plastic or glue repairs on the base. Please contact me for additional details and photos this insulator is clearly marked . it has marking 4-1 and a mfg date stamp of Dec, 5 1900 .The base is unmarked .
