Ice fishing is just starting to "warm up" around here. The water is hard and the trout are biting.

"Trout under hard water is best ... soft water is very dangerous". We have had members of the Trout Club who get anxious and go out fish'in to early or stay to late [in the season]. That's a mistake that is a precursor that turns into "ice swimming" and it can be fatal.
