Up for sale is one early aluminum wire splice from a high-voltage line. This piece measures 16" in length, and while slightly dirt-stained on one side, is probably among the few of its brethren surviving today. I'm not exactly certain as to the origins of this piece as it came from another collector, but it looks like it probably came from a pretty hefty power line. Most of this "scrap metal" hardware doesn't survive, so here's your chance to take home a great and hefty go-with for your collection!
