CD 249 Hemingray. Only known, documented use, was right here in western PA.. It's common knowledge that Larry Veneziano of Illinois had an agreement with the Cabin Hill, Pa. office of the utility that owned the line these were used on to purchase units removed from service. It's also common knowledge that Jack Riesselman of Montana purchased many of these units from Larry for resale. Both of these two sold wholesale lots to collectors all over the country. Ask either one of these two cats about this and they will gladly tell you about "the good 'ol days". This apparently has led some to wrongly believe that these were used in Illinois and Montana. ---- I've had several of these thru the years and all but the one in my collection have had some kinda damage. This one has a thumbnail size scallop to skirt at right moldline and some nibbles to one of the rear rings. Not bad actually for one of these and displays fine. More pictures available upon request.
