I first saw this insulator about 10-15 years ago. It appears to have been reglazed over white, but since it was so well done I suspect it was done at the Pinco factory by a factory worker. It doesn't have any rub marks like it was used, but that is not unusual for a Pinco distribution insulator. It is a unique one-of-a-kind item that likely is one of the many factory worker novelty items rather than someone trying in recent years to alter a common insulator.
