This no name English (UK) watt hour meter just arrived on the UPS truck. Very nice construction and neat register. More of a modern design as it has alnico damper magnets similar to Sangamo's alnico magnets. Operates very well. It has no nameplate with the meter's specifications. Hmm, I wonder what company made this meter? Only the Shadow knows! The Shadow just informed me that this meter is made by Smith. They were noted for their prepayment watt hour meters. They also made other types of timing devices for laboratory use.
