Here are three of the better insulators I got from a line crew dismantling a small telephone line near my place. From left to right are, first: [120] BROOKFIELD CREB CD 162 in light aqua, with an interesting feature, an inner skirt that exceeds the length of the outer skirt. Second: [010] BROOKFIELD CD 164 in (emerald?) green, the colour of this one is much greener in person. Third: [010] No Name No. 38-20 CD 164 in blue. More pictures are probably to come in the future. 2 of these are in NM condition. The CREB isn't, it has chipping on the extended inner skirt where the glass blocked the insulator from turning off it's metal pin. |
