A cool piece of history is unearthed! An original CD 208 from when the first transcontinental telephone line was built through here in 1914. It's a little beat up but most of these crosstops led a hard life up in the Sierra Nevada. I'd much rather have this one found in it's original historical setting than a perfectly mint piece from any other source.
