An old find, but important. Here are the two different colored CD 245's found on the 1893 transmission line from the Oil City hydroelectric plant on the Farmington River to Hartford, CT. The line was 11 miles long, 3 phase, 300KW, 133 cycle, 600V copper line used for street lighting by the Hartford Electric Light Company and know as the first long distance transmission line in the country.
