These almost always have some sort of damage, especially to the wire groove ridges which are have sharper edges than the smoother-edged one pictured here. Overall I would consider this piece mint if it was not for a couple minor wire groove scuffs (both in the upper and wide areas) and a couple teeny flea bites right around the base...all of which are very difficult to notice! This very likely is the NICEST 102.4 NET&T in the hobby since I know of no others that even come close condition-wise. This one will never have to be upgraded! Thin factory annealing lines zig-zag like lightning all around, from the pinhole area right down to the base, giving it extra character. I purchased this insulator from the Tom Moulton collection in 1988 or so. A base view of this insulator follows. Asking $1,850 and that includes shipping. Satisfaction guaranteed! |
