Probably my second most favorite bottle display was this display of Bencia-altered glass. Many bottles dumped in the bay next to Bencia were altered by the chemicals of bayside industries, marine salts and bay waters to create this colorful irridescence of the etched glass. Yes, there are also a few insulators that were discovered that had this irridescence. The displayer also dug these bottles when he was younger. It was very hard, hazardous and rewarding work compared to most bottle digging.
