Up for sale is a pair of tougher-to-find Canadian transpositions. Around these parts, CD 196s, 200s, and 203s rule - not as readily come across are these Canadian Porcelain-made mud units. Most commonly found are the mottled brown and chocolate brown colours characteristic of CP. Less commonly found are the white examples. Markings, of course, are generally scarce as with most CP products, but none of these transpositions seem to turn up in large numbers. The example at left is a not-so-common white-glazed example that is unmarked. This example came from a collection in the Aylmer, ON area. At right is a later dark-chocolate-coloured example that came from Toronto, where these are sometimes observed still attached to the sides of buildings on rare occasions. Both examples are VNM. I see one tiny flake (about 1/8") on the sharp middle groove of the white example. I can't see any damage on the brown one. Both have some light wire groove rubs, as is to be expected. I'm asking $20.00 US plus shipping for the pair. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
