SO ... I am not an insulator collector ---- I am primarily a bottle collector. I picked up this green insulator ... and wanted to get a fair price. One of your members referred this site to me so I could offer it for sale and learn. A few of your members reached out and corrected me on the listing. One made a very generous offer ---- which I accepted ---- and the glass will be on its way to the new owner shortly.

It seems that you have a great group of dedicated insulator collectors here. I am thankful for the knowledge I have received and will continue to be a member . Thanks to everyone for your help !!!!

(The following is the original sale post )

I am not very knowledgeable with insulators. I picked up this one ---- which one insulator collector says is a good one . He described it as a CD 737 --- Dark Green.

It stands about 4 1/4" high by ---- I guess a little oblong --- 4" wide on one side ( lined up with the seams ---- and about 3 13/16" across the seams.

About a 1/2" chip on the one top edge .... looks like a small dinged area about an inch to the left of that, maybe a 1/4" .

ABout a 5/8" chip right near the gloppy seam at the base. And another chipped area about an inch to the right of the gloppy seam. A few fish eye marks or maybe small dings.

I don't see any cracks or major problems ......

Price is $2800.
