Wow, I never expected to find one of these in OL KY............I contacted Elton Gish for some info and he tells me that the piece was made by the "Pittsburgh High Voltage Insulator Co." around 1915. Most if not all have been found in the Seattle area of Washington State..........How did this gem get to KY?...........Beautiful mottled Caramel Color. There is a 1 inch chip on the base and a small chip on one ear..........Not bad for a porcelain insulator that has survived for 100 years............(((((((-:...........Alan Riegler, Mayfield, KY.
