Plenty of glass insulators here! The pole in the foreground deadended its openwire circuits so that they could be combined to paired cable...that you see crossing the street. It likely led to the town's local central operators' office. Towards the left is a shorter pole...with a distribution transformer on it. Apparently electric lighting circuits were strung quite a bit lower in this community and on separate poles. which was preferred practice throughout the US and Canada through the early teens, primarily for safety purposes.
